Audio-Technica AT-LP7X turntable
Audio-Technica is proud to announce the AT-LP7X, a fully manual belt-drive turntable designed for vinyl enthusiasts who value precision engineering and minimalistic, timeless design. Building on decades of analogue expertise, the AT-LP7X combines a sleek matte black finish with premium materials to deliver exceptional audio performance. Its dense MDF (medium density fibreboard) plinth and 20mm acrylic platter damp resonance and vibration, ensuring minimised transmission of mechanical noise and oscillations for a more accurate reproduction of the recording.
The turntable features a J-shaped aluminium tonearm inspired by classic Audio-Technica models from the 1960s and ’70s. Equipped with a dual-axis gimbal and precision bearings, it offers low-friction tracking and stability. The AT-LP7X comes pre-mounted with the AT-VM95E cartridge in black on a AT-LT10 headshell, providing excellent channel separation and low distortion. For added flexibility, the stylus can be easily swapped with any VM95 Series replacement.
Customisation is at the heart of the AT-LP7X. Vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustment, anti-skate control, and additional sub-counterweight allow compatibility with a wide range of cartridges and headshells. A built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier supports both MM and MC cartridges, making it effortless to integrate with any system.
The AT-LP7X plays 33â…“ and 45 RPM records with unwavering accuracy thanks to its optical speed-sensor system and vibration-dampening motor mount. Spring-based isolation feet and an external power supply further reduce unwanted noise, ensuring an uncompromised listening experience.
