Falcon Acoustics will show a limited edition LS3/5A with a difference. The Kingswood Warrant model is a “meticulous remaking of the ‘no compromise’ prototype created by the BBC in 1974, before commercial production. If demand for the limited run of 50 pairs is as high as Falcon expects this may be your only chance to hear this ultimate LS3/5A.

KEF has the new R Series comprising three floorstanding models; the flagship R11, R7 and R5; the award-winning R3 standmount, R2c centre speaker and R8a Dolby Atmos enabled speaker. Check out the copper finished metalwork.

Chord Electronics, will be demonstrating “the world’s most advanced digital filter technology” with the Hugo M Scaler standalone upscaler, Hugo TT 2 desktop DAC/preamp/head amp and the partnering TToby stereo power amp.

Acoustic Energy is launching a new flagship range, the 500 Series. The stand-mount AE500 and floor-standing AE509 feature carbon fibre tweeters and mid/bass drivers, designed to match the “pistonic power and accuracy of their ceramic aluminium drivers but with improved self-damping for a smoother, more transparent sound”.

Yamaha will showcase the MusicCast VINYL 500 turntable as part of a wireless Music system which lets you “Listen to your records around the house, wirelessly - experience True Sound without being tied down by cables.” I wonder if it will change sides as well!

Neat Acoustics will be streaming and spinning vinyl through their latest creation Ekstra, a loudspeaker that’s claimed to firmly adhere to designer Bob Surgeoner’s ‘Thinking Inside the Box” mantra.

Test drive Clearaudio’s brand new Smart Matrix Silent record cleaning machine. Engineered to reduce noise to a minimum, and clean records, natch.

Kudos are working with Exposure Electronics on a further development of active amplification. Exposure’s new VXN crossover enables active analogue amplification and can be used with potentially any pre/power amplifier combination.

DS Audio’s small range of optical phono cartridge is expanding with the new DS-E1, the most affordable example of the breed so far.

Scansonic’s newly-upgraded MB-B series of loudspeakers to make its UK debut. With a Raidho ultra-light ribbon planar tweeter and upgraded, drivers and cabinet the 3-way MB-5B floorstander will be demonstrated with Dual’s top-of-range CS-600 turntable and electronics from Audio Analogue and Pegaso.
