The Indulgence Show will be kicking off on Friday October 14th and the Ear will be there. The event looks like being the best show that London has seen since the heady days of the Ramada Inn at Heathrow, with demonstrations from a host of major brands and the opportunity to come along and tell us what you’d like to see on the site.
The list of brands attending the event has grown significantly over the last three months and now includes Bowers & Wilkins, Chord Co and its unrelated namesake Chord Electronics, Cyrus, dCS, Esoteric, Gamut, Isotek, KEF, Leema, Mark Levinson, Michell Engineering, Monitor Audio, Naim, Pioneer, PMC, Quad, Russell K, TEAC, Totem, Townshend and Vertere among many more.
The Ear will be situated in the Champagne suite just outside the Headroom zone, a sanctuary for all lovers of intimate audio entertainment. We will be offering the chance to win a pair of PMC DB1 Gold loudspeakers and giving visitors the opportunity to compare cables via some very nice headphones. Electromod is kindly supplying a Schiit Jotunheim DAC and headphone amplifier along with MrSpeakers’ much vaunted new Ether C headphones.
There will be a feast of diversions at Indulgence including seminars from recording engineers Chris Kimsey and Gary Langan as well as an exhibition by rock photographer Ross Halfin. There will also be live music in the open areas throughout the event.
Dates and times for the Indulgence show can be found here and the event will take place at Novotel London West, 1 Shortlands, London W6 8DR. The nearest underground station is Hammersmith.
