Tangent Audio’s association with renowned designer Jacob Jensen continues with the launch of a cool new Bluetooth speaker with a handle (see home page). Tangent’s new Fjord Mini is a compact, wireless speaker with “a big sound” and stylish design, using high-quality materials and finger-touch control. The speaker features two full range drive units and a passive radiator powered by a 20 Watt amp. It can be mains powered/charged using the dock supplied or run of its internal battery for up to 8 hours of portable use. EDR and A2DP long range Bluetooth with NFC pairing is provided, together with HFP for hands free call operation with a smartphone. The 11.9cm tall Fjord Mini will be available in the UK during November with a retail price of £149.95.
