Next week the High End show kicks off in Munich and Living Voice have decided to show two of their extraordinary horn loudspeakers systems at the event. They will be demonstrating both the Vox Olympian (above) and Vox Elysian system and the marginally more affordable Vox Palladian and Palladian Basso loudspeaker systems.
In room E220 the Vox Olympian and Vox Elysian which haven’t been at the event since 2015 will be partnered with vintage Kondo electronics with both digital and analogue sources. For analogue they have the “delightful and understated” Grand Prix Audio Monaco 2.0 turntable with a Kuzma 4-point tonearm, and either a Fuuga or Kondo Io-M cartridge, and SJS Model 3 phono stage. The digital source will be the “high octane” LV CD300 based on a Canary CD player. They will also be playing THE classic Living Voice OBX-RW3 floorstanders throughout the show.
In room F219 the Vox Palladian and Palladian Basso horns (above) will be partnered with an Engstrom Monica line preamp and Lars mono power amp’s. The new Engstrom Arne integrated amplifier will make its first public appearnace with a pair of Living Voice OBX-RW3 loudspeakers. For analogue they have the Kuzma-M turntable with a Stogi S VTA tonearm, Fuuga cartridge and an SJS model 3 phono stage in a matching walnut livery. The digital source is the same LV CD300 player. A system that LV describes as “no frills, just pure performance”.
Munich 2018 will also see the launch of the new Living Voice G2 equipment supports in both rooms. The G2 is a performance focused design that combines clean simple lines with innovative resonance control. Once again the power supply for these systems will be a Living Voice Pure Music battery power supply system that “allows us to cruise off-grid all day in both rooms”. So that’s the secret then!
