Qobuz Connect celebrates over 100 partners
Qobuz, the independently-owned high-quality music streaming and download platform, has reached a significant milestone with Qobuz Connect. Launched in May 2025, the feature is now integrated with more than 100 partners across hi-fi brands, multiroom OS platforms, and advanced network/SDK integrations. Its rapid adoption has been recognised internationally with a Planning Award at VGP 2025, Japan’s most prestigious audiovisual industry accolade, awarded annually by industry critics and retailers.
Qobuz Connect allows users to stream and control their music directly from the Qobuz app on their smartphone, tablet, or computer to compatible hi-fi equipment. Playback starts instantly on the selected device without third-party apps. Playback remains stable even when the user exits the app, ensuring a fluid and uninterrupted listening experience. Qobuz Connect delivers high-resolution audio directly to supported devices, guaranteeing listening in the best sound quality available.
Strong adoption across key markets

Transparency & artist fairness
Qobuz continued to champion a healthier ecosystem for artists. In March, it publicly released its industry-leading average pay-per-stream rate of $0.01873 per stream – the first and only major streaming service to openly publish such data. The announcement set a new benchmark for transparency across the wider streaming landscape.
Qobuz was also recognised for its leadership, with senior executives named on the Billboard Global Power Players List for the second consecutive year.
Ethical Consumer recognition:
Ethical Consumer’s music-streaming guide highlights Qobuz as the strongest performer among the major platforms, ranking ahead of Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, Spotify and YouTube Music for artist compensation. Ethical Consumer scored Qobuz highly because it offers significantly higher compensation rates, combines streaming with hi-res download sales, and prioritises human curation and editorial content over purely algorithm- driven recommendations.
This independent analysis reinforces Qobuz’s standing, highlighting its artist-friendly model and commitment to a transparent, sustainable streaming ecosystem.
