Rega has finally announced the long-awaited Mercury pre-amplifier and Solis power amplifier which will retail for UK SSP £13,900 for the pair. Previewed at the Bristol show earlier this year and presented at multiple showcase events around the country, we are delighted to have both units officially in full production today.
Rega will be shipping the first units to UK retailers immediately which will be arriving throughout next week. The Mercury and Solis will perfectly partner the reference Aura phono stage, Isis CD players, and the Naia turntable to complete the latest Rega reference system.
Mercury pre-amplifier
The main development objective for the Mercury was to create a no compromise audio preamplifier. Mercury is hand crafted to reveal the true potential of your hi-fi system thanks to an ultra-low noise floor delivering exceptional dynamic range. The Mercury pre-amplifier, like the Solis, is the culmination of almost four decades of Rega electronics engineering experience in solid-state amplifier development. Solis power amplifier

The advantage of using a separate chassis for the pre-amplifier and power amplifier allows the low voltage sensitive circuitry to be isolated from the high current power amplifier circuitry.
