Chord Shawline X Aray interconnect cable
Chord Company has upgraded its Shawline analogue interconnect with its recently introduced XLPE (cross-linked polythene) insulation, creating the best-performing Shawline cable yet. The new Shawline X Aray is the latest in a line of handmade-in-the-UK cables from Chord Company to benefit from the performance-enhancing dielectric; Shawline’s upgrade follows the Signature X and Epic X Aray interconnects earlier in 2023.
Built with high-quality silver-plated conductors, complex layers of shielding, and Chord Company’s proprietary Aray geometry, the new cable has been designed to enhance a wide range of systems, thanks to achievable pricing for a handmade cable (from £210). The Shawline X Aray also benefits from Chord Company’s unique Chor Alloy plated Vee 3 RCA, DIN or XLR connectors, plus the latest factory technologies, finessed over the AV specialist’s near-40-year history.
The Shawline range is comprehensive, boasting a dedicated tonearm cable, mini-jack options, HDMI AOC, power and speaker cables, plus and a variety of digital connections. The cable comes with a generous lifetime warranty against defective materials and workmanship.
