Solen amplifiers arrive in the UK
French amplifier specialist Solen has appointed Replay Audio Distribution as its new UK distributor. Known for its meticulous engineering and refined aesthetic, Solen focuses on low-noise circuit architecture and robust power delivery, with an emphasis on transparency, dynamics and musical coherence. Each amplifier is designed and manufactured in Grenoble, France, reflecting the brand’s commitment to precision build quality and long-term reliability.
The CV40-EL84 tube amplifier (£4,550) blends the rich, musical character of valve sound with modern performance, delivering 40 W of dynamic power and precise control through four EL84 tubes for excellent imaging and effortless driving capability.
The CV20-N (£3,775) amplifier pairs modern digital connectivity with classic EL84 tube warmth, featuring an integrated DAC and Solen’s Circlotron design to deliver strong bass, dynamic performance, and natural presence in a compact aluminium chassis. Both models will be available through Replay Audio’s dealer network soon.
