Vertere Luna DC power supply
The Luna dedicated Linear DC supply has been developed to ensure that all DG models — DG-1, DG-1S and DG-X — as well as the Tempo motor drive operate at their absolute optimum. The result is breathtaking performance, with enhanced dynamics, greater clarity and a more tangible sense of presence.
The internal circuit architecture is derived from the linear power section of our Imperium motor drive, making Luna the natural upgrade for any DG, and for all MG, SG and RG models powered by the Tempo motor drive.
DC power delivery is about far more than maintaining a constant voltage. Any circuit — especially one as advanced and complex as a precision motor drive — requires exceptionally clean, ultra-low-noise power delivered instantly and effortlessly. Only then can the microprocessor, DAC and amplification stages perform with absolute precision and stability. That is precisely what Luna delivers.
As with all Vertere products, Luna was developed using our reference system and associated components to ensure seamless upgradability at every level.
The performance of the Luna dedicated Linear DC power supply can be further enhanced when used with a Vertere Redline or HB Mains Cable.
Luna, Redline, HB
Replacing the supplied mains cable with the Redline or HB model unlocks a remarkable new level of performance, delivering a dramatic uplift that goes well beyond expectations.
Luna, like its larger sibling Imperium, is engineered with highest-quality components and a meticulously optimised circuit layout to deliver exceptionally stable DC output. This precision power architecture ensures both DG and Tempo motor drives receive ultra-clean, low-noise energy – reducing unwanted interference, and allowing each record player to perform at its absolute best.
Luna unlocks deeper resolution, enhanced micro-detail, and greater harmonic integrity – revealing new musical insight from every record.
Matching the partnering Luna, Tempo Front Panels are available as an optional upgrade, allowing existing Tempo motor drive front panels to be replaced for a seamless, coordinated look. The recommended retail price for Luna is £1,200.
Vertere Solo
Solo Moving Coil Cartridge was developed to ensure faithful pick up of the mono signal that is cut into the record groove and to bring the music to life with breath-taking clarity and presence.
Every element of the design was considered and refined — from the telescopic aluminium alloy cantilever, only horizontally active generator coil, Shibata III stylus profiles to its mass-tuned aluminium alloy body — all in pursuit of unlocking more detail, more emotion, and more music from the groove.
The cartridge, a beautifully machined aluminium alloy housing with Vertere’s signature 4-point fixing system, is designed to enhance mechanical integrity and vibration control. To ensure perfect synergy with the bespoke low-mass moving coil generator, cartridge mass and structural balance has been fine-tuned to the new Cantilever/Coil suspension. This combination allows the lateral modulations in the groove to be captured and every nuance of the music to be replayed with exceptional realism, from the subtlest string decay to the full bloom of a grand piano and emotionally recorded vocals.
What truly sets Solo apart is its ability to resolve detail without a hint of any exaggeration. Its generator is engineered to ensure almost no vertical movement in the groove has a component in the mono signal — minimising distortion while delivering ultra-low noise, outstanding resolution, lifelike dynamics, and precise ‘spatial’ imaging of the mono recording.
More than a cartridge, Solo is an experience — revealing not just sound, but the full emotion present in every performance. Solo doesn’t just meet expectations; it redefines what a mono moving coil cartridge can achieve.
Solo features
Telescopic cantilever – nude diamond stylus technology for enhanced performance and precision.
Aluminium alloy cantilever precision fitted with Shibata III nude diamond stylus tip.
Mono coil generator engineered for precise lateral mono signal cut into the groove with no vertical signal component.
Blending the inherent strength of the telescopic aluminium alloy cantilever with the precision of the ‘single’ cross-coil generator and fine-tuned synthetic rubber suspension to achieve the remarkable dynamic control, unwavering tracking stability, and impressive frequency extension.
The Shibata iii stylus profile provides a highly responsive interface that maximises signal integrity and dynamic performance.
The Special Three-Point Contact design is precision-machined into the top surface of a single-piece aluminium alloy body to provide the required contact with the tonearm headshell and cartridge alignment accuracy
Each cartridge generator is individually calibrated and aligned to maintain optimal mechanical balance and unmatched performance. The Vertere signature Four-Point Generator ‘Floating’ Support system incorporates four stainless steel ‘spike’ screws, each meticulously adjusted for precise alignment and structural integrity.
The Vertere Solo will retail for £2,850 and is available in March, 2026.
