speakers-corner-news

Speakers Corner Records is celebrating its 25th anniversary, the German audiophile vinyl pressing specialist released its first LPs in 1993. To mark the event they have prepared a special service for all those who are interested in how an LP is produced.
“What is the difference between audiophile releases and standard releases with digital origins? Of course, good pressing is important, but what really makes the major difference to the sound is what happens in the mastering studios. In order to answer all questions about the mastering of vinyl records once and for all, we have set up a dedicated website. Here, such matters as lacquer foils, master tapes and analogue delays, among others, are explained clearly in word and illustrations. Numerous experts from Germany and abroad have contributed important information; finally, all subjects concerning the mastering of vinyl records have been gathered together in one place.”
