Elite Audio UK bring in Audio Physic speakers
Elite Audio UK are very pleased to announce today a renewal of their partnership with innovative German loudspeaker manufacturer Audio Physic, after a two-year hiatus. During this time the brand, together with respected British electronics firm Cyrus Audio, experimented with an associated approach to the UK market. Having expanded its dealer base with Cyrus, Audio Physic felt it was time to return to the specialist capabilities and services that Elite Audio UK Distribution offers. This is great timing as Audio Physic are ready to announce new market innovations as well as a program of upgrades and new products for the coming year.
Audio Physic themselves are celebrating their 40th anniversary—4 decades of relentless innovation and experimentation with new technologies—some developed in-house, some poached from the most unobvious of industries! Many customers globally have fallen in love with the ‘transparent’ nature of the Audio Physic sound—effortlessly revealing and holographic, detail with absence of harshness, bass with taut control. And with some of these new discoveries and applications, Elite Audio UK have absolutely no doubt there will be many more lovers to acquaint in the next 40 years!
“We have always loved the ‘Nothing But Music’ ethos and sound of Audio Physic’s speakers,” said Mark Cargill, proprietor at Elite Audio UK. “…designer Manfred Diestertich is always full of ideas and inventions but never loses sight of the ultimate goal—enjoying our music!”.
Thomas Sacheiha, Managing Director of Audio Physic, added, “We want to thank Cyrus for the two years of developing the UK market further and we are delighted to continue our journey together with our longtime partner Mark and his team at Elite Audio UK. We look forward to working with them to further develop our profile in the UK, and to launching some exciting new technical developments into our range!”
Elite Audio UK have Audio Physic’ excellent range of speakers available now to UK customers through a network of authorised dealers and online platforms.

New Cardeas
Launched first week of September 2025 is a significant upgrade to their flagship Cardeas model. New Cardeas features a host of fundamental upgrades—most notable the adoption of a completely new driver material, Reco-Tec. This is a special carbon matrix non-crimp material that combines extreme stiffness with high internal damping—for maximum precision, impressive dynamics and exceptional transparency.
There is also a new bass adjustment system called Q-Set. Via a 3-position switch on the rear, this allows the loudspeaker to be tuned specifically for installations close to the wall or corner—with no significant change in impedance. This is made possible by the use of specially arranged and constructed dual voice coils in the woofers and bass-midrange driver—a technology that is unique in this form to date. They have also extended their spiderless driver application to the bass–midrange chassis, ensuring a very precise and more powerful bass.
The first units of the Cardeas 2.0 will become available later in September. However, the price will stay the same (from £36,995) until the end of 2025.
