Denon, Marantz, and Classé today unveiled a bold new chapter for Heos, the wireless audio platform powering more than 50 premium audio products worldwide. With a refreshed identity, redesigned app experience, and expanded platform capabilities, Powered by Heos redefines whole-home sound for the modern listener.
A decade of wireless innovation
Back in 2014 we asked a simple question. What if you could fill your home with incredible sound without wires and without compromise? It was this question that sparked the creation of Heos.
From the very beginning, the mission was clear. Whole-home audio should be simple, but never at the expense of sound. Heos was built by an audio company first, so premium performance has always been at the heart of the experience. It was designed to let you hit Play and enjoy music everywhere—without confusing setups, glitchy apps, or compromises in sound quality. Over the years, Heos grew into something bigger. What started as a bold idea became one of the most trusted wireless audio platforms in the world. Today, more than five million products are Powered by Heos. Like any pioneering platform, Heos has evolved through real-world experience. In December 2023, we launched Heos 3.0, a completely redesigned experience built on a new architecture. It delivered faster performance, greater stability and a music-first interface designed to feel intuitive from the very first tap. Heos 3.0 was born from listening to our community and responding with the most complete version of the platform yet.
But evolution never stops. Since then, we’ve continued to develop Heos by adding new music services, including high-resolution platforms like Qobuz, along with Roon Ready certification. The app experience was further improved with Home Page customizations, centralized searches, room and speaker grouping presets and more.
In 2025, major Heos app updates bring listeners even closer to the music they love—making Heos more powerful, more personal, and more in tune with how people want to listen.
