Melco Audio’s latest firmware brings the Qobuz Downloader to its range of EX Series music libraries. Available from today, the new firmware version 4.20 will be pre-installed on all new Melco digital music libraries and is available immediately for owners of existing EX Series machines, plus customers who have updated their Melco music libraries to EX specification, unlocking their full potential.
Melco’s addition of the Qobuz Downloader gives its customers access to thousands of tracks in high-res and CD quality, which can be downloaded directly to Melco music libraries and stored for playback. In addition, the new firmware offers enhanced media server stability, additional markerless DSD compatibility with a range of USB DACs and updates for Melco music libraries already featuring firmware version 4.10. The new firmware version 4.20 is a free over-the-air update.
