Elipson in Habitat

Spherically inclined French loudspeaker specialist Elipson has signed a partnership agreement with British home furnishing store Habitat to produce a new product line dubbed Habitat & Elipson. The first fruits will be the Lenny (above) a foghorn shaped portable speaker with an eight hour battery life, it’s splash proof as one might hope and offers Bluetooth connectivity with a driven 50mm drive unit and a passive 100mm one, power is a single 20 watts.
Timber is a hexagonal shaped amalgam of aluminium and wood with a pair of 70mm drivers and 15 watts each to drive them, it can be connected to Bluetooth, USB or minijack sources. Pricing in Europe will be €199 for Timber and €299 for Lenny.
