Free vinyl cleaner with Pro-Ject X turntables

X2-black-mat-NEW

Henley Audio announces its ‘Free Spin Clean’ promotion*. With immediate effect, when customers in the UK and Ireland buy a Pro-Ject Audio X1 or X2 turntable they will receive a free Spin Clean Record Washer System Mk II (worth £90.00). One of the most effective accessories in hi-fi town, the Spin Clean Record Washer System Mk II does away with traditional ‘dry brushing’ in favour of giving vinyl a nice bath. Just pour some distilled water into the Spin Clean’s ‘tub’, mix in a measured dose of the supplied fluid, and give vinyl a ‘spin’ through the fluid – three times in one direction, and three times in the other. Now dry the record, using the supplied cloth, and it’s all set to be its best version of itself.

The Pro-Ject X1 (£699) draws on Pro-Ject’s latest technologies and abilities, as reflected in its ‘X’ nomenclature, to deliver exceptional sound for its price. Supplied with an Ortofon-manufactured Pro-Ject Pick-IT S2 MM cartridge, the X1 package contains a pair of Connect-IT E RCA cables, a carbon/aluminium sandwich tonearm, and a acrylic platter.

The X2 (above) launched at the same as the X1, replacing the P2 and “provides four-figure performance and luxurious aesthetics” in return for its £999 price tag. That price includes an Ortofon 2M Silver cartridge, as well as a one-piece tonearm manufactured from carbon fibre and aluminium, plus a set of Connect-IT E RCAs.

In the sub-£1,000 category these are serious decks, yet both offer Pro-Ject’s customary ease-of-use, enabling the user to be up and running in little time at all. And to help maintain these lofty performance levels, Henley Audio is offering a free Spin Clean Record Washer System Mk II, worth £90, with every purchase of an X1 or X2.
