GIK Acoustics has expanded its bass trapping range with three new deep-panel solutions designed to tackle uncontrolled low frequencies. The new range includes the Classic bass trap panel “60Hz”, Amplitude bass trap panel “60Hz”, and Flexrange bass trap panel “50Hz”, and will be formally introduced to the market and shown at Axpona 2026.

Bass is still one of the most underestimated and hardest-to-control problems in any space. Low frequencies build up on walls, create standing waves, and muddy everything from a studio mix to a home cinema experience. Most acoustic panels on the market simply aren’t thick enough to address bass below 100Hz.

That’s why GIK Acoustics has extended its range of bass trap panels to include 20cm (8”) / 22cm (9.5”) options that effectively absorb all the way down to 60Hz and below – a first for any major acoustic treatment brand offering these as standard, off-the-shelf products – giving customers more effective control over bass build-up, standing waves and low-end smear, issues that can compromise clarity, balance and accuracy in any room.

All three models have been independently tested at the University of Salford to BS EN ISO 354:2003 standards. More than 20 Camira Cara fabric options are available across the range, alongside multiple sizes and options for ultimate customization.
