Danish designed Lyngdorf Cue-100 takes the iF Design prize
Lyngdorf Audio is proud to announce the latest award for the high-end audio design speaker Cue-100, the world-renowned iF Design Award 2024.
Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF Design Award in Berlin. The competition this year was intense: almost 11,000 entries were submitted from 72 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of design quality, and less than half of them made it to the final jury hall. The jury consisted of 132 independent experts from all over the world.
Danish design and materials
With the Cue-100, Lyngdorf Audio leaves combines modern Danish speaker design with the innovative and benchmark-setting Purifi loudspeaker technology. With materials like solid oak, satin-black or satin-white lacquered mdf and an all-around fabric cover from Danish specialist Gabriel, the Cue-100 is available in 24 color combinations to fit every living room and interior design.
Cutting through the competition
After passing the iF jury’s preselection in late 2023, two Cue-100 speakers were displayed as top finalists in the big iF jury hall in Berlin, to be scored over two weeks by the international 132-member design expert jury. In April 2024, Lyngdorf Audio received the official iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 for the Cue-100.
