AVID is proud to announce the launch of the Ingenium SE, the successor to the widely acclaimed Ingenium Plug&Play turntable. Building on the proven success of its predecessor, the Ingenium SE incorporates carefully considered refinements shaped by feedback from customers and retailers over the product’s lifetime. The result is a more mature and capable design, offering a refined and elevated approach to high-performance vinyl playback, with greater musical transparency, precision, and user flexibility.

At the heart of the Ingenium SE is a newly developed, custom-designed drive motor, derived from the Relveo and partnered with a carefully engineered external power supply. Together, these refinements reduce noise, enhance speed stability, and reveal greater detail.

The tonearm has also been upgraded, offering increased structural rigidity, adjustable bias, and improved cabling, allowing the cartridge of your choice to perform at its full potential.

Optional upgrades remain available, including the Metal Platter Upgrade and the DSP Power Supply, delivering further gains in sound quality, along with fine speed adjustment and convenient electronic speed change at the touch of a button.

“The Ingenium Plug&Play was a milestone product for us,” said Conrad Mas, founder of AVID. “With the Ingenium SE, we’ve built on everything we learned and taken performance further. This is not simply a replacement, but a clear step forward in both performance and musicality, while also providing customers with a defined path of upgrades to further enhance their enjoyment.”

Key advances

Custom-designed drive motor and mass loaded housing
New Power Supply for greater speed stability and pitch accuracy

While maintaining its accessible setup and user-friendly design, the Ingenium SE offers a more sophisticated platform for vinyl enthusiasts seeking higher levels of performance without entering the complexity or cost of flagship models.

As with all AVID products, the Ingenium SE is designed and manufactured in the UK, reflecting the company’s commitment to engineering excellence and long-term reliability.
