JPLAY FEMTO: turn your PC into a killer source

According to JPLAY, maker of software used by discerning JRiver enthusiasts, JPLAY FEMTO is “a complete network music software player for the most demanding audiophile. It combines unrivalled digital playback algorithms with convenience that has not been available before.” The femtoServer is “an ultra-light and ultra-optimized UPnP media server, wherein digital files are reproduced with higher transparency and precision than ever before.”

JPLAY FEMTO, our UPnP Renderer, can extract the best performance from virtually all audio formats and resolutions including DSD Native (RAW). We’re told that “extreme optimisation in JPLAY FEMTO means that local files sound better and Tidal and Qobuz hi-res lossless streams can be played at much higher quality too.” The software is PC only and can be controlled by third party control apps including BubbleUPnP and Linn Kinsky. You can trial JPLAY FEMTO for free for 21 days. A full license valid for two PCs costs €149 on rhw JPLAY website. For a limited time (until end of November 2018) existing JPLAY customers can upgrade to JPLAY FEMTO for €49.
