Mark Levinson 600 Series: No.626 Dual-Mono Preamp; No.632 Dual-Mono power amp; No.631 Monoblock
Mark Levinson debuts its new 600 Series at a High-End launch party in Munich this evening. Seen as a “bold new chapter” in the brand’s legendary pursuit of musical fidelity, the 600 Series “redefines what’s possible from preamplifiers and amplifiers, delivering an experience of power, precision, and purity that is unmistakably Mark Levinson”.
The series introduces three new reference components: the № 626 dual-mono preamplifier, the № 632 dual-mono amplifier, and the flagship № 631 mono amplifier—all designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA as part of the expanding Harman audio empire.
“The Mark Levinson 600 Series reflects more than 50 years of mastering the art and science of sound,” said Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning at Harman Luxury Audio. “It’s about more than technical excellence, it’s about capturing the emotion, power, and nuance of a musical performance with breath-taking clarity. With its bold new design and uncompromising performance, the 600 Series pays tribute to our legacy and sets out to exceed the expectations of the most discerning listeners.”
For over five decades, Mark Levinson has earned its place among the most revered names in high-fidelity audio. The new 600 Series continues this tradition as each model is built on the brand’s proprietary Pure Path circuit philosophy and features the brand’s iconic Tectonic industrial design, sculpted from solid aluminium and accented with red signature lighting that glows like embers beneath volcanic glass.
Every detail, from the custom-machined enclosures to the glass core and mechanically isolated foot architecture, speaks to the brand’s commitment to performance and purity. These are components not just meant to be heard, but felt.
№ 626
The № 626 dual-mono preamplifier is a celebration of sonic fidelity, blending an all-analogue signal path with a high-resolution digital core. At its heart is the Precision Link III DAC, capable of decoding up to 32-bit / 384kHz PCM and native DSD audio through its six digital inputs. A fully balanced Pure Path architecture anchors the analogue stage, while a Pure Phono MM/MC phono stage and Main Drive Class A headphone amplifier make the № 626 a complete solution for every source. Designed with modular isolation, dual power supplies, and vibration-damped foot architecture, this is a preamplifier that lets the music speak for itself and say everything.
№ 632 and № 631:
Designed for those who demand authority and refinement in equal measure, the № 632 Dual-Mono amplifier and № 631 mono amplifier both feature Class A/AB operation, Pure Path fully- balanced signal paths, and robust toroidal power supplies housed within their own dedicated modular chassis. The № 632 offers stereo flexibility and dual-mono separation, while the № 631 delivers uncompromised performance as a single-channel powerhouse, unleashing music with stunning impact, tonal depth, and holographic imaging.
The Mark Levinson 600 Series will be available towards the end of 2025 with prices of: № 626: £23,999.00; № 632: £29,999.00; № 631 (single unit): £ 37,999.00
