NAD Electronics M33 streaming amp and M23 power amplifier
A new standard in high-fidelity performance from NAD is offered with new models announced ahead of the Munich High-End event. Their next-generation streaming amplifier and stereo power amplifiers promise unmatched timing precision, sonic transparency, and system flexibility.
These two highly anticipated additions to the Masters Series are the M33 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier and the M23 V2 Stereo Power Amplifier. These build on the legacy of the original M33 and M23 with cutting-edge digital architecture, refined sonic performance, and enhanced connectivity.
M33 V2: reference-level streaming
The original M33 was widely welcomed for combining audiophile-grade sound with modern streaming convenience. The M33 V2 raises the bar yet again. Incorporating MQA Labs’ new Foqus and Qrono technologies, alongside an ESS Sabre ES9039PRO DAC, a next-generation ESS ADC, and Gen 2 Purifi Eigentakt amplifier modules, the M33 V2 is engineered for absolute timing precision and musical integrity throughout the entire signal chain.

“NAD is the first company to address psychoacoustic timing issues along the entire signal path,” said Cas Oostvogel, NAD’s Product Manager. “With the M33 V2, we’ve eliminated distortion not just in the traditional sense, but in the way human ears actually perceive sound timing—delivering a listening experience that’s more nuanced, more accurate, and more emotionally engaging.”
Key enhancements
Foqus (ADC) and Qrono (DAC) from MQA Labs: Ensure accurate signal conversion and preserve timing, nuance, and spatial cues;
New ESS ES9039PRO DAC: Achieves ultra-low distortion and wider dynamic range;
Dirac Live Bass Control readiness: Delivers precise subwoofer integration and optimised room response;
XLR pre-outs + higher subwoofer output level: Provides expanded system flexibility for separates and multi-sub configurations.

With BluOS™ multi-room streaming, Apple AirPlay 2, aptX HD Bluetooth, HDMI eARC, and support for major smart home platforms, the M33 V2 is not only a technical achievement but also supremely versatile.
M23 V2: power with precision
Following the M23’s reputation as a high-value, high-performance power amplifier, the M23 V2 pushes boundaries further. Featuring the latest Eigentakt modules from Purifi, NAD’s renowned amplifier design expertise, and system-friendly enhancements, the M23 V2 delivers authoritative dynamics and vanishingly low distortion. Capable of delivering 200W per channel (8 ohms) or 700W bridged, the M23 V2 is the perfect companion to the M33 V2 or M66 preamp, creating an ultra-high-performance, flexible system.

Key enhancements
Updated Eigentakt modules: Refined timing and distortion suppression;
New 12V trigger output with timed delay: Simplifies daisy-chaining of multiple amps and prevents surge spikes;
Balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs: Ensures seamless integration into a wide range of setups;
Bridgeable operation: Output doubles in mono mode for maximum system headroom.
This amplifier excels across the board, we are assured: dynamic power, load-invariance, and musical transparency; delivering effortless performance with every detail intact.

Synergy in the signal chain
Used together, the M33 V2 and M23 V2 offer an end-to-end NAD solution that embodies the Masters Series philosophy: benchmark innovation, intuitive control, and sonic performance that rivals boutique brands—without the boutique markup. Whether employed in a 2-channel reference system, a high-performance smart home setup, or a premium installation, these components deliver unmatched results.
The new units will be available from 11th August priced at NAD M33 £4,999 / and M23 V2 will be £3,499 / €4,499
