Naim Audio has announced native Qobuz support for its Mu-so 2nd Generation family of award-winning wireless speakers. Enabled via a free over-the-air firmware upgrade, the integration will enable seamless access to Qobuz streaming services – including true high-resolution music streaming – from within the Naim control app. The update will be rolled out to all Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation units from today, Monday 15th June, with Mu-so 2nd Generation users being able to update from Wednesday 17th June.

Qobuz offers the most comprehensive CD-quality music catalogue currently available and the largest selection of albums in true high-resolution studio quality.  Its streaming services are currently available in 12 countries, including the US, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

The Mu-so 2nd Generation family update means high-resolution Qobuz music streaming will be natively available across Naim’s full range of latest-generation streaming products; the Uniti Atom, Star and Nova systems, plus ND5 XS2, NDX 2 and ND 555 network players, received an update back in February. To enjoy Qobuz streaming services, users will need a Qobuz subscription: 30-day free trials are available via a link in the Naim control app, which is available for iOS and Android devices. Artisan sideboard not essential.
