Node Atom speakers at Whittlebury
Node Audio will debut production models of its long-anticipated Atom loudspeaker range this weekend (21–22 March) at the Audio Show Deluxe 2026.
Now in its fourth year, the show brings together many of the world’s most respected high-fidelity brands in an environment dedicated to exceptional sound and considered design. Hosted at Whittlebury Park, near Silverstone, the event combines state-of-the-art audio demonstrations with live music performances, offering visitors a richly immersive listening experience.
The Atom range represents a significant milestone for Node, encapsulating the company’s commitment to technical innovation, material exploration and refined industrial design. Two models will be presented: the Atom 525 standmount, available with a dedicated plinth, and the Atom 650 floorstanding loudspeaker.
At the core of Atom’s design is a sculpted, complex cabinet geometry that eliminates sharp edges and flat surfaces – reducing diffraction and preserving stereo imaging. This is complemented by a tightly integrated driver arrangement, where closely positioned tweeter and midrange units maintain coherence and precision across the soundstage.
Low-frequency performance is delivered through Node’s proprietary Helical Transmission Line (HTL) system. By capturing the rear energy of a long-throw woofer and directing it through a precisely engineered helical pathway, HTL enables bass extension and control far beyond what might be expected from the speakers’ scale.
Atom also introduces Node’s patented MonoCell structural damping. In place of conventional fibrous materials, a finely tuned internal lattice provides both damping and continuous bracing, forming an ultra-rigid monocoque enclosure that significantly reduces cabinet-induced colouration.
Further enhancing resolution, Atom employs ultra-lightweight midrange drivers without traditional spider suspensions. Using a dual-driver configuration, each unit operates with reduced mechanical resistance and workload, allowing for exceptional responsiveness and clarity at even the most delicate levels of musical detail.
Visually, Atom reflects a contemporary approach to high-end audio. Cabinets are wrapped in bespoke multi-layer acoustic fabric or premium leather, offering both aesthetic refinement and additional vibration control. Structural elements are precision-machined from solid billet aluminium and finished to an exacting decorative standard. The launch range includes a fabric option alongside seven curated leather finishes.
Designed and manufactured in Cambridge, UK, Node continues to challenge conventional loudspeaker typologies, pursuing an approach where acoustic performance and industrial design are inseparable.
Visitors to Audio Show Deluxe 2026 will be among the first to experience Atom, with demonstrations taking place in Room S26. The Atom loudspeaker range is available to order now. Node is actively expanding its global distribution network and welcomes enquiries from retail and distribution partners.
