Radiant Acoustics Clarity 6.2 speakers
Launching today, Radiant Acoustics introduces its first product, Clarity 6.2, with a clear goal: to make highend hi-fi attainable for all music lovers, enabling audio enthusiasts everywhere to experience music in its purest form.
Clarity 6.2 are high-end compact speakers featuring revolutionary Ushindi-drivers from the Danish company Purifi Audio. For the first time, these advanced technologies are accessible in an affordable, mass-produced design, answering the prayers of audiophiles worldwide.
A shared vision
For decades, Peter Lyngdorf’s companies have been pioneers in their respective fields in the audio industry. HiFi Klubben stands as Europe’s largest hi-fi retailer, Nordic Hi-Fi delivers first-rate products at unbeatable direct-to-consumer prices, and Purifi is renowned for its cutting-edge Eigentakt amplifier technology, featured in NAD’s most exclusive models. Equally impressive is Purifi’s contribution to speaker innovation. Their Ushindi woofers, using Ultra Low Distortion Transducer technology, have set new standards in bass and midrange performance from compact drivers.
Until now, this advanced technology was limited to very expensive high-end audio equipment or complex DIY projects, conflicting with Peter Lyngdorf’s vision of making quality hi-fi accessible to everyone. To address this, Radiant Acoustics was founded with a bold mission: to challenge the status quo and create the ultimate loudspeaker but at an affordable price.
Radiant Acoustics may be a new brand, but with seamless integration of the expertise from HiFi Klubben, Purifi, and Nordic Hi-Fi, it draws on over 80 years of combined experience. From this, they’ve developed a compact, high-quality speaker that delivers rich and pure, distortion-free sound traditionally found in larger, more expensive systems. By bypassing intermediaries and offering direct sales, they manage to offer true high-end hi-fi without the exorbitant price tag. Leveraging HiFi Klubben’s expertise and logistics further supports the endeavor, allowing for direct-to-consumer sales through their stores and radiantacoustics.com.
Craftsmanship
From the dimensions of the cabinet to the precision-tuned drivers, every detail of the Clarity-series was overseen by Peter Lyngdorf himself. These speakers are not just a product—they are a testament to what’s possible when technology, expertise and passion converge to elevate audio performance to new heights.
“When professionals hear these speakers, they defy expectations”, said Peter Lyngdorf. “You see the woofer moving and expect distortion, but with the Clarity 6.2, even at high volumes, the sound remains crystal clear. No distortion, no interference—just pure, dynamic sound, from the delicate tones of a female voice to the deep resonance of a bass guitar”.
Assembled and tested in Denmark to ensure top quality in every unit, the Clarity 6.2 features a revolutionary 6.5” Purifi Ushindi woofer with Neutralsurround technology and an advanced voice coil, these speakers deliver impressive performance, while two Purifi Ushindi passive radiators further enhance low-end performance while eliminating all port noise.
To handle the high frequencies, Clarity 6.2 uses a no-compromise AMT tweeter, with exceptional dynamic range and the ability to reproduce the finest details. The tweeter is paired with a custom-designed high-frequency beam expansion waveguide, developed by Purifi’s co-founder and CTO, Lars Risbo. The waveguide narrows the tweeter’s directivity to perfectly match the woofer around 2400 Hz, but what truly sets this waveguide apart is its ability to also broaden the AMT’s dispersion at higher frequencies using specialized fins. This allows listeners to enjoy intricate details even when they are not positioned in the classic ‘sweet spot’. Clarity 6.2 are available direct for €3.998 per pair.
