The T1 Evo aims to deliver true high-fidelity sound on a limited budget. Boasting premium materials, stylish aesthetics and a rich, lively sound, the extensive development process that went into its creation has ensured that there has been no compromise in the sound performance. Made to PerformThe T1 Evo is based around its stylish CNC-machined plinth, featuring no plastic parts and carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside, avoiding unwanted vibrations within thefinished product. Even the power switch is moved to the side of the chassis to allow for a clean, elegant appearance.
Mounted inside the plinth is a precision belt drive system with automatic speed control for 33 and 45rpm, attached to a large sub-platter, which itself is engineered to the finest tolerances for stable mounting into the stainless-steel axle/brass-bushing main bearing. The sub-platter drives the heavy, zero-resonance glass platter with absolute stability, ensuring an ideal playback surface for vinyl records. The tonearm on the T1 Evo boasts a one-piece aluminium 8.6” tube and an improved gimble bearing assembly with low-friction components for total accuracy in use. Supplied with an Ortofon OM 10cartridge with elliptical diamond stylus for great sound, the tonearm is also pre-set for downforce and anti-skate settings, so there’s no need for any complicated set-up; you can get playing straight out of the box.
