Pro-Ject has unveiled the Elvis Turntable, the latest addition to its exclusive Artist Collection. Marking 90 years since the birth of Elvis Aaron Presley, this limited-edition design celebrates the enduring legacy of the King of Rock ’n’ Roll.
Based on Pro-Ject’s acclaimed T2 turntable, the Elvis edition is handmade in Europe and features a CNC-machined plinth with integrated, dimmable LED lighting that illuminates a striking ‘ELVIS’ logo, creating a centrepiece fit for The King.
The Pro-Ject Elvis Turntable joins a select group of Artist Collection designs that each pay tribute to their inspiration in distinctive ways – from the nostalgic charm of the Charlie Brown-inspired Peanuts deck to the unforgettable submarine-shaped Beatles Yellow Submarine, and the bold styling of the Metallica model. Like its bandmates, the Elvis edition combines authentic hi-fi engineering with an eye-catching design that perfectly captures the character of its subject.
Beneath the new arrival’s glowing exterior lies a genuine audiophile turntable, complete with a precision 9” aluminium tonearm, adjustable spring-based anti-skating system, and a factory-fitted Sumiko Rainier cartridge. A 10mm, 1.7kg glass platter ensures stable rotation and low resonance, while the electronically regulated motor allows easy switching between 33 and 45 RPM.
