Steinway Lyngdorf announces music streaming update for the Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons home theater processors, including Qobuz Connect and Pure Audio multichannel streaming

Steinway Lyngdorf announces a software update for all Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons multichannel home theater processors, including Qobuz Connect and Pure Audio Streaming. This update continues the company’s policy of adding new features to existing products and always focusing on the best sound quality.

Qobuz Connect

Steinway Lyngdorf was already at the forefront integrating music streaming in their multichannel home theater processors, for example adding Tidal Connect with Dolby Atmos Music, Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, and Roon Ready. Tidal Connect also allows to play thousands of Dolby Atmos Music albums directly, specifically recorded or remixed in certified Dolby Atmos Studios to give the listener a totally new, fully immersive sound experience.

The newest software update adds Qobuz Connect, chosen by many music listeners for its rich catalogue of high-resolution music including a wide Jazz and Classical selection, available for both streaming and downloads. This makes the Steinway Lyngdorf multichannel processors the perfect choice for movie enthusiasts as well as music lovers.

Pure Audio streaming

The software update also adds a new standard in immersive listening: Multichannel streaming in high- resolution sound quality. Pure Audio Streaming delivers the world’s first lossless, uncompressed, and uncompromised immersive audio streaming, revolutionizing the way listeners experience music at home.

Steinway Lyngdorf will be the first manufacturer to integrate Pure Audio Streaming directly via AC Connect in its multichannel processors, ready to play high-resolution immersive audio with the convenience of app control. Simply open the Pure Audio app, choose a song, playlist or album, and stream directly over the multichannel processor.

Auto Lipsync

The update also adds automatic lip-sync to the Lyngdorf MP-40 2.1 and Steinway & Sons P100 2.1 processors. The Auto Lipsync feature compensates for incorrect timing between audio and video, and syncs it with feedback from the TV, projector or video processor through HDMI eARC. Auto Lipsync was already available in the MP-60 2.1 and P300 2.1 models, and is now available in all models with HDMI 2.1.

The software update is available now and free of charge for all Lyngdorf Audio and Steinway & Sons processors.
