Qobuz is the official partner of the listening tour of Superpoze, a French artist with electro influences. This event will take place in London at Brilliant Corners on July 4th. It will be an opportunity for all music lovers to listen to Superpoze’s third album Nova Cardinale in high-resolution audio.

For Qobuz, this partnership is part of a desire to support the French music scene and offer high value-added musical content to all of its subscribers. This tour also symbolises the platform’s commitment to respecting the artist’s work by promoting the listening of an album in its entirety.

These seven listening sessions, in France and in Europe, will offer a moment out of time in a privileged setting like the first session organised on March 24, at the legendary Studio Ferber in Paris. Between 30 and 40 privileged music lovers will be brought together to discover the new album by Gabriel Legeleux, alias Superpoze, in a perfect context and with optimal attention.

For 45 minutes, fans of the singer-songwriter from Caen will enjoy an immersive musical experience thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, followed by an hour of discussion in the artist’s presence.

“We at Qobuz are proud to accompany Superpoze on this listening tour. Together, we share this taste and this desire to transmit music in the best possible sound conditions to reveal the subtleties and instrumental richness of each track of the Nova Cardinale album. The fact that these hi-res listening sessions are followed by meetings with Superpoze himself adds an essential point of exchange between a musician and his audience,” says Marc Zisman, Chief Music Officer at Qobuz.

Revealed in 2012 as one of the young talents of French electro, Superpoze continues to impress. In the space of ten years, he put his qualities as a pianist at the service of machines and his peers: producer of albums and songs for other artists (Jacques, Alex Beaupain), musical director of tours (Eddy de Pretto), and composer of film soundtracks (Frères Ennemis by David Oelhoffen in 2018, La Source by Rodolphe Lauga in 2019). His third album, Nova Cardinale, confirms its unclassifiable status and offers all audiophiles rich and lush music.

“I am very happy to offer a context other than that of a concert to exchange with those who listen to my music or wish to discover it. This album is the result of long months of writing and recording in the studio. I wanted to offer good listening conditions to take full advantage of it, and take the time to discuss its creation and recording. Thanks to Qobuz for supporting me on these dates!” says Superpoze.
