I’m a musical nomad with passion for syncopation and harmonies who has stayed in the hi-fi industry to satisfy my insatiable addiction to music. I currently work for Acoustic Energy but have spent time with Hi-Fi Experience, Harman and ECS over the years. I’m still in the industry because it’s the best place to find other music enthusiasts and you’ve got to pay the bills, what can I say!
I have a musical collection that is mainly made up by CDs, with music that spans from one conventional extreme to another albeit with a notable lack of any punk or disco. I will admit to the usual idiosyncrasies of the modern age, with a past life that includes commercial fishing in Alaska, service in misguided military forces and an upbringing in a commune.
Music at home is played through a Resolution Audio Opus 21 CD player, processed by an ECS preamp, amplified by ECS monoblocks and connected via various Harmonic Technology cables. The system is all neatly arranged on a Mana six tier stand, the actual sound is produced by a pair of Apogee Mini ribbon speakers which are aided by a subwoofer.
